Wentworth Miller 101 : All You Need To Know

More 'Prison Break' Coverage from Comic-Con
Source: BuddyTv.com

Oh, how fans were disappointed when Prison Break’s Wentworth Miller was a no show at Comic-Con this year. Our very own Oscar Dahl was there for it all, watching fans literally get up and walk out of the panel discussion when they realized their favorite heartthrob wouldn’t be appearing. Those who stuck around, including Oscar, got to see the first few minutes of the season 4 premiere, which left many wanting more, as well as listen to Prison Break stars Sarah Wayne Callies and Dominic Purcell open up about the new season as well as life on the set.

Believe it or not, it’s not always so serious on the set of Prison Break. At Comic-Con, fans wanted to know if there were any Prison Break outtakes. When you work together long hours as often as this cast does, Dominic Purcell says that funny moments are bound to happen. "We've been doing this for four years," he said. "And it comes to the place where you've got to crack jokes!" Sarah Wayne Callies agreed saying, "I think there's also points when you've been working for 16 hours and sprinting and running, and you hit a certain point where it's all funny. And then you just need to go home!"

New Layout for WM101
Good afternoon,
In light of no news on the Wentworth front other than hearing he had to do some shoots for the upcoming season of Prison Break and hence was unable to attend the Comic-Con event in San Diego, I wanted to create a new layout for the site in the mean time. I realize I just put up a new layout not too long ago, but what with August soon approaching, I wanted to take advantage and get a headstart!

Hope you like it!

Live from Comic-Con: Wentworth Miller a No-Show for 'Prison Break'
Source: Buddy.tv

Oh, Wentworth Miller, how you toy with your legion of fans. Mr. Miller, who has a rabid fan base (especially here at BuddyTV), has become known as something of a recluse or, at least, a person wary of any and all media attention. So, it was semi-big news when it was announced that the cast of Prison Break would be making their first in-person appearance at this year's San Diego Comic-Con. Tonight, you could feel the young females in the room squirm with excitement as the 24 panel ended and the stage was prepared for Prison Break. Little did they know that intense disappointment was on its way.

First, the FOX/Prison Break representative went out and put down the placards for the panel. There were the names you wanted to see: Dominic Purcell, Sarah Wayne Callies and, most important of all, Wentworth Miller. It was coming true, Wentworth fans felt, they were finally going to see him in person. Then, they showed the first ten or so minutes of the fourth season premiere. The crowd was lathered up and rarin' to go. Finally, the moment of truth; the cast and creative team arrived on stage. There was executive producer Matt Olmstead, there was Sarah Wayne and Dominic and...that was it. Wentworth Miller was nowhere to be seen, and the crowd lost its breath, a great many fans standing up and leaving the room the second that Olmstead said that Wentworth got stuck in LA shooting some pick-ups. Hmm, does that seem dubious or what?
......

Well, not everyone can always get to where they need to be, you know.. If you wish to read spoilers which they posted on their website, read up on it on the website at Buddytv.com!!

-- there's always next time!

Wentworth Miller Arrives at the FOX Party
Wentworth Miller arrived at the FOX All-Star Party held at Pacific Park on the Santa Monica Pier on Monday in Santa Monica, Calif.

The Prison Break star arrived in a BMW Hydrogen 7 vehicle at the Fox Network’s Television Critics Association party.

“It’s the A-Team 2008!” Wentworth said with a laugh when asked to describe the new season. “We are seven guys with very different agendas who are forced to work together,” he told E!

The 36-year-old actor also talked about the return of Sarah Wayne Callies. “It was a happy day when Sarah returned. There are a lot of chefs and so to say that one person made the decision would be erroneous. And I have to say that Sarah has handled herself with grace, and dignity through the whole process and ultimately what happened is that we are doing right by the fans and bringing her back.”

Executive producer Matt Olmstead told E! that he and coexec producer Zack Estrin are right in the middle of rewriting the Prison Break spinoff. “We are finishing the script; then we’ll cast it, and then we’ll hopefully shoot it and get it on the air.”

Site of the Month: GrobanWire.com
Good evening again,
I wanted to bring attention to the numerous updates I made tonight (new layout, Comic-Con information, Prison Break spin-off, TCA's update and information about the upcoming season) as well as introduce a new section of the site where I feature a favorite site of mine for a month.

This month, I am featuring GrobanWire.com, an affiliate we've had for ages, and one I appreciate her hard work and dedication on the site as it's not easy doing a solo project and doing it well.

Go visit GrobanWire.com and see for yourself why I made it Site of the Month.

Thank you,
Angela

MeeVee: Breakfast With Michael, Lincoln & T-Bag
Source: MeeVee.com

The tag line for Fox's "Prison Break" in the coming season is: "The only thing harder than breaking out is breaking in." Brothers Michael Scofield and Lincoln Burrows will be working for the government for a change, in hopes of earning their freedom permanently. But it's not going to be easy.

The cast and producers of "Prison Break" showed up for breakfast at press tour this morning, and nobody got much to eat because we formed a huge scrum around Wentworth Miller (Michael) and Sarah Wayne Callies (Dr. Sarah Tancredi). That's my hand holding the recorder in front of Miller's shoulder.

Mmmm...scrambled eggs, bacon and a side of "Hey babe" with a wink from Dominic Purcell. Let me just say I could start off every morning just like this, as Fox kicks off its Television Critics Association press day at the Beverly Hilton with a Prison Break-fast (They're pun, not mine. I'm not that clever.)

Sarah Wayne Callies is not going anywhere, Wentworth Miller is happy as a clam (make that, hot clam) and the producers are moving forward on a Prison Break spinoff. Click in for all the breaking scoop that just went down..

Sarah Wayne Callies Loves You: When asked how she felt about the overwhelming fan response to her character's death that brought her back to the show this season, Sarah Wayne Callies got a little misty: "It was heartstopping. She's a small character on the show, and I never thought they would make the noise that they did. I don't have words for the kind of gratitude I felt. It's incredible." Added Wentworth: "It was a happy day when Sarah returned. There are a lot of chefs and so to say that one person made the decision would be erroneous. And I have to say that Sarah has handled herself with grace, and dignity through the whole process and ultimately what happened is that we are doing right by the fans and bringing her back."

Say it with me now: HOLLA

Wentworth added: "Sarah is not going anywhere. She's in for the long haul."
